Default Where to buy military vehicles in Michigan?

Most likely going to be leaving our 2006 Unlimiteds alone (other than a budget boost and 32s for both) once we get home...

Looking for a deuce and a half or five ton for a reasonable price in driving condition right off the bat.

or

A M113.

Anyone know of anybody that specializes in this type of thing?

There used to be a guy in Kalamazoo that had some. Also Huff Auto in Jackson sometimes has a deuce sitting on the lot.

From what I remember there were atleast 3 deuces, & a 5ton. also had a really nice looking blazer (not sure what m# those are). I fix the doors on the loading dock at Jay's and only had time to scan the lot today, but usually he has some really nice quality vehicles.

Those blazers are turds Range Control drives them around on Fort Hood and you should hear the "fond words" they give them when they visit a range.

in2deep - Does he run a business or is it just some guy with a bunch of trucks in his back yard? Not too fond of cold calling private individuals based on a nameless stranger handing out a phone number on the interweb

lol I don't know too much about them, but I was surprised how good of shape it was in. Good luck in your search, I'm not sure what I would do with one, but I keep telling my son that we're gonna own a deuce someday

The guy in copemish had then lined up as you drive into town, looks like a small auto repair shop.

General jim and that guy in copemish are good bets... Otherwise you can look on the government liquidation websites.

My $.02

General Jim's has more than just what he has on the lot, I am pretty sure he also has some vehicles sitting up next to 127 north of Clare, about 10? miles north, so I know he has some inventory.

Buy them cheap at the grayling auction. The military base has an online list of whats gonna go. That's where general June and the got in copemish buy theirs
