Showed up at 6:15, I was 4th in line... Machine told me I was #2.. At least 100 people in line when I left and I am in a very very small district.

I really think if the volunteers were under the age of 95, voting would take 1/2 the time.

No way that I could vote this morning, the parking lot was full, and cars were lining up out on the road. I'll try again at lunch.

Yeah, the little old ladies and men don't cut it. I got to my precinct at 7:00am, couldn't even park in the 75 space lot. Gonna have to head back in the afternoon to hope for shorter lines.

The line was out in the road at my station on my way into work. I will try again during lunch, if the line is still insane I will just have to do it after my lecture this evening.

So maybe you guiys should volunteer to take a day off work than spend 14-16 hours at the polls working for $10-$12 an hour and see how much better things are.

Stopped by my location at 8 thinking most people would be already at/on way to work. Cars parked a 1/4mile down on Hadley rd from the parking lot so I said screw it and I'll go later on and hope for shorter lines

I showed up at exactly 7:00 a.m. and was #40. The line grew quickly behind me as I got there (probably to about 150 or so). It took me about 50 minutes to get through the line... things were slow since they only had one computer to check the people in where you get the actual ballot.

Of the 8 or 9 volunteers that were manning the poles this morning there were two who were probably about 25 years old, a girl and a boy. The girl has been volunteering at my polling place ever since I've lived in the neighborhood and she adds some nice eye candy to the event. Not that that octogenarian who gave me my ballot wasn't a fine piece of ass back when she was working the Truman/Dewey election...

Obama told the dems that have cars to park and fill all the spots to make it look busy.........it's a ploy.
