Sure 26th sounds good, I am talking to the DNR now about requirments. I would be street legal if i were you. It will be county roads and some street from the hotel. I will know more on the orv stickers. If they want us to get them I dont have an issue with that.

My buddy called them. You don't need an ORV sticker. You do need to be street legal. All roads are open (fire, tank, seasonal, etc.), Except ORV with width restrictions (less than 50" is the most common) and snowmobile trails.

They also said don't go destroying the land or they will take your truck. So stay on the trail and don't be an ass.

A suspension designed to work independently, locked together...

That's why i posted them, everyone wheels range 13 complex and knows though's spots. Everyone knows Budweiser Hill off Jones Lake Road also. I might give away some more of my wheeling spots later on, like gravel pits, Chicken Hill, Lonesome Lake Hills, Look Out Point, etc.

Thats exactly what I got out of it. So thats what we are doing. You are responsible for yourself. So tread lightly.

How high do you sit. Just off memory its like 28" frame height or bumper, cant remember. but what does that have to do with getting a plate. They dont ask at the DMV.

being street legal is diffrent then violating the lift law, your only not street legal with out a plate and insurance in Michigan. Lifted to high to break the law is illegal but that doesnt mean your not street legal. I do believe 28" to the frame is the max height any vehicle can be and still be legal but the only truck that fit that catagory are superdutys and such. tires so not need to be covered by the body in Michigan.

so plate it, get pl-pd ins. and have fun praying you dont get stopped for the lift law. I think most of us are this way everytime we hit the streets in our rigs.
