Ramada has some sweet stuff with pool tables, bar, kids area, and indoor pool. 2 nights starting at $155 for 2 double beds. Lets get this together. I'm going somewhere with the jeep and grayling has some great trails.

I posted on the Sno-Fari thread. If anyone wants to join in a little prerunning fun they are welcome to join. I can't promise it'll be as good as the event but it's still a good time wheeling. And with smaller groups means more freedom sometimes too.

This is an awesome idea for those that didn't make the cut for Snofari. (My-self included)
Now I'm not trying to be a buzz kill here, but someone might wanna check with the DNR to see what the specific rules are? Just like they do with Original Snofari.
Would hate to see everyone on this run get popped for a zillion dollars worth of tickets by "The Man".
Folks just wanna go wheelin, and that's what it's all about. But....... it's real easy to undo all of the hard work that was put into making winter wheeln possible with Snofari, by not following the rules up in Grayling. It would be worth a very non-specific phone call to make sure it's handled right.
I'm sure the folks a the GLFWDA would be glad to tell someone where to go for the info.

Thanks.

A group of friends wheeling together with no food, raffle, entry, etc and less than 20 people do not need a permit.

You are forgetting to mention that snofari is given permits to run trails that are normally not open to the public....

Just thought I would throw that in there.

True, but if you don't get into that run, always good to have a backup plan.

I believe the ones in Grayling are on seasonal roads? I know I go to the waters bombing range all the time and its all legal cause its all seasonal roads, not snowmobile trails.

I'm game, I was born and raised in Grayling so i know the area like the back of my hand. I have a few buddys with rigs to. I wouldn't worry about the dnr, its all federal land open to the public.
