Wait, Romney is leading in Michigan? LOL

wtf is going on here. Four polls show it's a dead heat, one shows Romney in the lead by a point. I never thought I would see the day that Union Michigan could some how give it's votes to a republican.

Hasn't happened since Reagan. I'm a little leary on these polls.

The whole last four years are a clone of the Jimmy Carter presidency...

Good, since he's winning anyway, I don't need to vote.

A Romney win in Michigan would be so awesome. It would send a message to the Democrats and the unions

Apparently all the unions get to take a day off work tomorrow to vote. My brother-in-law at Ford, my kid's school teachers. Unfortunately I don't get that luxury

In thinking about people I come across every day here are my estimates of how they will vote. Friends 75% Romney, Family 90% Romney, coworkers about 50/50. 4 years ago more people in my every day life voted for Obama.

So among the people I interact with every day there are more republican votes than 4 years ago.

The Detroit News endorsed Romney, a little surprising but hopefully will sway some people.

And the Free Press endorsed Obama. Not sure how that works, considering they are the same damn company.

I'm union, I'm NOT getting time off to vote. It's not everybody. Actually, any union around here where I work is NOT getting time off to vote.

Sorry for the generalization Shawn. On a positive note, my brother-in-law at Ford is voting for Romney. Of course, Ford reorganized it's business without government assistance...something that has worked out pretty well for them...

Yea, those TARP loans Ford got right before the "bailout" worked out well for them.

Or their latest grant they received from the government for EV research.

Different people on each editorial board. The News has always leaned right, the Freep has always leaned left.
