I'm not sure what you mean by that but it sound a little like "I finally got him to accept my low ball offer"

Unless I give a deposit, I don't expect the item until I pay for it. Same goes for when I sell stuff.

I would rather sell stuff dirt cheap then mess around. Get it sold and regret selling it later kind of deal.
That being said If I can not get something dirt cheap good chance I will simply wait for another of the same item to come along. Cash talks, transferring money, having the item delivered(like I have done a few times on here and on a few other forums) always included a bit of justified incentive as it should with the added work to get the item sold at a fair price to both sides.

I don't put tons of faith in the itrader thing because I could GAF if you got screwed over in the past and in retaliation got bad feedback as long as I get the item I want without getting screwed over.
You can tell easily by looking at someones profile at the previous stuff they have sold and the reactions they received if they are going to screw you over. When I spot a great deal I will constantly look back at the started post to see what they have previously sold and get a good idea if they are willing to make a deal. Not budging in the price is kind of a red flag in my book unless it is a steal to begin with.

I do not deal with people selling for a friend kind of deal. Have your friend come on and sell the stuff them self's.

I have been screwed over a few times by placing cash down to hold a item"although I still do it a lot being out so long". Generally I try not to do or accept it because you really never know how long the buyer is going to take(I sat on a item for 4 months before with it paid in full because the new owner did not want it till the spring) or if your seller still has the item when you plan on picking it up. If I do something I will pay you in full(paypal or western) and have it delivered(or COD at the folks place), buy it in person, or not buy it.

Right now I have a list of 7 68-72 c10's and a few v8 first gen s-10's all great deals to check out the 20th. If they are around I will grab one if not I can wait for the next deal that comes along. There is always a steal to be had if you are patient enough for that need cash moment.
Family always come first and I have always sold to family dirt cheap or simply given items to them if they needed them.
