Does anyone still go out to heiss road? My buddy told me he went out there not to long ago when it was dry and there was no signs blocking it off.

well i contacted the monroe county road comission and according to them it is not closed here is the message they sent me if anyone is interested

Monroe County Road Commission

Good Morning Ryan.
Heiss Rd bt Steffas Rd and Bluebush Rd. is a certified road, though it is classified as a seasonal road. That means the road commission does not maintain the road during the winter months

They will be posting up a road close sign soon. Also if you go of the road into the farmers field. He will call the cops and charge you with Tresspasing, and if crops are in the field with charge you with damage.

i know that i dont blame the farmer for that, but according to monroe county road comission that road is open, someone is putting the road closed sign there illegaly

That cool, I just know there have been alot of people going into the farmer Field. As long as you do not do that I think it is Game ON. Watch for stuff in the holes. I know there used to be glass in some of the holes. I used to go out there in the early 90's to Mid 90's.

ok it is seasonal and it is open when in season, they said they dont maintain it at all and not fit for an automobile, thats why they put up the road closed signs but since they added dirt they took the signs down

That first hole is a doozy, the rest isnt too bad. Alot of fun can be had there. A buddy of mine blew his lift blocks out there and spun the housing 180 degrees the other way! Its been a long time since we were there but when we did go we had a blast.
