Default WooHoo I won a $1000.00 from Best Buy

Just got a text from 909-973-6491 saying I won a contest that I entered last month and the winning code is 2913. Go to a website to claim prize.

Problem being I never entered a contest.

Should I start spamming the number or is it a waste of time?

I got one of those a.week ago. I would guess if you reply you will get plenty of spam texts.

I got one as well. If you're on Verizon you can forward it to 7726 to report it as spam.

If you go to the website and read the disclaimer it's one of those deals where you have to complete three "sponsor offers" , usually involves buying something. After getting a few of those texts boredom and curiosity got the best of me. Also said the company sending the text was not affiliated with best buy. Just an ad agency. That's where I quit.

to block texts from a specific number on sprint you send a message to "9999"

in the body the message should say "block (or unblock) phone number"
