Lol if you really aren't man enough to say Bill Clinton was a good president just because you vote rebublican your the most ignorant person out there. There have been many great Reb and Dem presendents over the years and I would vote either way if I thought they were worth it but neither Mitten or Obama are.
I don't vote republican, I vote conservative. The last good Dem. president we had was JFK. All the Dem's from him to now have been getting more and more left and it's sickening. Sorry, but I think Clinton was a joke. One example? NAFTA. So if that makes me the most ignorant person out there because I don't like Clinton, so be it. I gotta tell ya though, I won't lose any sleep over it!

I say Clinton was good pres because people made more money in the 90s while he was president then in the last 50 years. Every president has some questionable calls but over all Clinton was a pretty damn good president.

I'm not his biggest fan, but at least Clinton was running things with a surplus, which can't be said for most other democratic or rebulican presidents.

Actually Clinton rode the ride provided by Reagan. If not for Reagan's policies put into place Clinton would have crashed and burned, not as bad as Obama but still.

While I'm not an accountant, I was researching the regurgitated response "I inherited blah, blah from Bush" and found a pretty good explanation of where the economy looks to have started sliding.

It's long, take a read but well worth it.

The hypocrisy is this thread is astounding.

If the OP would have stated "I'm not voting for obama because he is muslim" not one of you would have said a word about religion....just given a thumbs up.

Lots of folks on this board talk all 3rd party, conservative, tea party, independent, write in blah blah when it's primary season or during a open election and then when it's time to push buttons they just just keep the status quo.

according to past polls on this board Mitt got 0 votes in 1 poll, and was last behind obama/democrat in another.

A few people here actually have liked Mitt long time, and others have made it known they cannot stand him. I am in the latter group. I thought he was a douche 6 years ago and he has done nothing but increased his douche-baggery since as far as I'm concerned.

Lets call Mitt what he is...ass douche.

So why didn't Bush ride on the same policy's? If Bush would have stayed with the same Reagan policy's he would have been a great presendent also. It takes a good president to stick with what's working- Reagan, Clinton knew good government!

Really? Is this just your opinion or do you have facts to back it up? Because I know for fact Obama has done and continues to do douche-baggery stuff daily.

Just an FYI NAFTA was drafted and approved by George H Bush and Clinton was forced to sign the bill. Very similar with the auto bailouts.

I believe that history will show that Bush did a good job, not as great as Reagan but he did ok.
As for Clinton he was in it for popularity and the hummers

Just a question. If your statement is true then why does everyone say Clinton rode the coattails of Reagan and not Bush?

And some day he'll thank Ronald Reagan for planting the seeds of the surplus that Bubba harvested.

Reagan laid the groundwork for the economic machine that kicked in during the Clinton years = and God bless him, Bubba was smart enough not to fukc it up. Other investments that Bubba collected dividends on included defeating the Soviet Union and restoring our standing in the world after Jimmuh Carter's poor performance.

I believe it was the policies put into place from Reagan the carried on through the Clinton years. Lowering the income tax rates was one that allowed Americans to prosper.
