Default 241-241 doubler

im collecting parts for my sas on my 88 scsb
i have seached and found some info on the 241-241 doubler but not much in depth, anyone here built one? the two main questions are is there a bearing in the rear of the first case all the plates i have seen dont have anything thing for a bearing. what about not haveing the oil pump any more

any one have any experience with doubler

I run a 231 to Dana 300 d and d machine doubler. No bearing in the plate. You only use the front half of the first case. So no mainshaft to need a bearing. It just uses a stub shaft to go from the first case to the second case. So also no chain to need oil from the oil pump that gets taken out.
