Prom always sucks. Lots of money wasted on one night. I would have also chose the locker.

I see no problem with her choice. Prom was on our last day of school my senior year.....my buddy and I skipped out early, did some burnouts on my Chevelle, and then went Up North. No regrets. I'm pretty confident my memories from our trip are better than any I would've had at prom.

Also, I bought my mom's XJ off of her early in my senior year and my parents said as a graduation present they'd either throw me a big grad party, or buy me a lift, wheels, and tires for the XJ. I chose the lift, and while I got a TON of use out of it, it's been a slippery slope from there. Of course Trish is already sliding down that same slope so let her do what she wants to do. Or as a grad present to her, buy her the locker and send her to prom!

As much as I love my toys and using them, the older I get I like the social aspect of it just as much as using them. In other words the prom is very much a social event. She should probably go unless she really does not have any friends there.

She's a smart kid. She has given it lots of thought and I did the obligatory "are you sure this is what you wanna do" speech.

Got the front locked today, Thanks Farva! (and Scott for the use of the barn!)

She took it out back for a quick second just to see how it flexed. Was waaaaay to sloppy out there for anything more.

It drives fine down the road. It does "fight" a little bit on very slow turns and has a little clunk to it here and there. Makes it a bit of a pita in a tight spot but nothing that she won't get used to.

It's a budget wheeler. Down the road if she gets a different dd and decides to make this trail rig only then we will toss a better locker in it.

Getting a front end alignment at Clyde's this week as well.
Not trying to butt into your business, but I wouldnt want lockers in my own DD let alone my kids. Rain and snow it will be a hand full. Can you at least get unlocking hubs for the front?
