i am just happy he dosent mind spending $$ on players unlike that other owner across the street.
He did look bad though, we havent heard anything bad or sickness related.

Dude's old. Really old. Older than me and whiterhino combined old.

I met him about 30 years ago, so it was a bit of a shock to see him look that old.

I have nothing to add here except that Illitch, was a Marine and then made a fortune in the pizza industry. He bought the Tigers from Tom Monaghan who was also a Marine who made a fortune in the pizza industry. Small world!

And the comparison to Martin Short's corpse is pretty uncanny! Great observation.

I got to meet him at a businessman's lunch back when I worked for Zenith Radio. Nice guy, and yes- very smart.

I've never met Mike or Tom but have had family members that did. Said both were nice and very smart. Both are very giving to charities too.They also had met Roger Penske and said the same about him.
I'd rather met and know Mike,Tom or Roger than all of Hollywood.
