I was there, but that happened after I left. I talked to Joe and he said he was doing belly flops into the water. After the third time he said he couldn't feel his feet. I'm guessing you know it's Farva's cousin...

he was wsted and dove in the moat. it was only about 6" deep. knocked himself out under water, was in for about 45 sec, i guess he could not feel his legs. they thought his neck was broke so he was MF to the hospital

I just got an update text from Joe...he broke vertebra number 5 and has no feeling from the neck down. He is going into surgery now.

Doesn't look good so far.

i dont know who you are getting your info from but its WRONG! They have not got him in to do the 1st surgery yet they are still waiting on some things to work out

I was there and saw it. Very tragic. It looked like he jumped in once and lost his hat. Then he dove back in after it. I could not see well once the ambulance got there with the crowd but he had pads on his chest and a few up close said they used a defibulator (sp).

This was very sad to watch and I hope he is ok. My kids were by me and also saw it. They were very shaken up by it.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to him, his family and friends.

To the owners of the property. This was a tragic accident. All was going great for the day/event.
Thank you for having us out. I hope this does not put a bad spot light on the event because this accident was unrelated to the sport.

Our thought and prayers go out to the family of the property as well. I am sure they feel absolutely horrible.
