Default (2) OBA air tanks (from CJ-10a tug)

I have two (2) air tanks that were pulled from one of my CJ-10a tugs. $20 each, or $35 for both along with an air governor, air valve & pressure guage.

Located just west of Grand Rapids.

Thanks,
Craig

Hey guys,

The tanks each measure 6 3/4" diameter by 14" length.

The lines were cut for removal. However, I have the complete CJ-10a manual with detailed diagrams on the complete OBA setup. The compressor pump connected to the air governor assembly. I can get you copies of the diagrams if you want.

Thanks,
Craig

OK, from the manual (in order of the flow of air)...

Air compressor (supply) --> alcohol evaporator --> Left-hand air tank...

Left-hand air tank
(1) --> Air governor --> Air compressor (return)
(2) --> Right-hand air tank -->
(a) Gladhand coupling (rear)
(b) Drain valve/heater
(c) Gladhand coupling (front)
(d) T-fitting...

T-fitting -->
(1) Air valve --> T-fitting --> Front & rear gladhand couplings
(2) Pressure guage

Keep in mind that this vehicle has 2 gladhand couplings on the front, and 2 on the rear. It was designed to run commercial air-powered equipment. A basic OBA setup will differ significantly. I just figured someone could use some inexpensive tanks to assist with a low-buck OBA project.

Craig

BTW, here's the in-cab control/pressure guage:

Hi Rob,

I'm sure some of the runs are over 5', and some of the lines are still in the vehicle. Let me wait until the 2nd tank is sold, and we'll go from there (I want to give the buyer(s) first option at the extra parts).

It's yours, Harry. BTW, I found that other set of black CJ bumperettes. How does $10 for the set sound?

Rob - I'll take a look at the air lines/fittings I have. Check back with me at the end of this week.

BOTH air tanks are now SOLD.

Thanks,
Craig
