Got the paint in today. Going with ppg, half the price of Dupont lol. We got the deepest darkest black they have. The plan is to have it in the base coat of primer by Monday. Then hopefully we will have our engine woes worked out.

We don't have a lq4 yet... kinda doesn't make sense to tear out a running driving engine when you don't have a replacement.

Possible engine. It only has a thousand HP but its very torquey and makes it all at low rpms.

sure it does. just more motivation to get the project done. Got to get your feet wet sometime. I drove my running 4.3 v6 in the truck that i drove all summer into the garage and the engine/trans left in the back of a truck when someone bought it a few weeks later. Figured when it was gone there was no going back which was fine by me.

Its getting primered before anything else. Its easy to wrench in the snow, much harder to paint.

My dad is doing all the work on it right now. Its breaking my heart, I would give anything to be working on it with him. Right now I am just chasing parts and funding it. My dad is a mechanical genius. I learned so much from him and dont know 1/4 of the stuff that he does. He has it stripped and scrubbed. he will have it primed by next week sometime.
