So when a fetus is still just a clump of stem cells and doesn't have ears or hands how does it react to external stimulus?

Looking at these pictures at what week does a fetus develop human characteristics?

At that point I believe it could be allowed but they dont stay that way for long. Im not a Dr to be able to say exactly when that happens, but they still cant accurately say how old a fetus is when in the womb. MY wife had 2 different Dr's with our second child and they were 1 mont appart in guessing the age.

So lets say 4 weeks a fetus is still just a glorified egg. Is it OK for a woman to have it removed?

so you're in favor of using abortion as birth control?

How many threads do I have now where I have stated I am in favor of all forms of birth control? You can't troll me Chad.

To answer your question no. Abortion is a last ditch thing. Nothing is 100% effective, but anything is better than nothing.

You did not answer my question, at what point during the development of the clump of cells does it transition to a baby? At which week?

At what point does the asking of a legitimate question constitute trolling? Do you know how to have a discussion with out.....ah nevermind, I already know the answer to that.

A simple yes or no is all I was looking for.

This is a clear cut case of murder.

6-8 weeks. I look at a 6-8 week old fetus and recognize it as a human.

http://www.babycenter.com/fetal-deve...t-week-by-week

That's what I am basing that opinion on.

Clear cut? Nothing ever is. What was her mental condition at the time? Was she mentally sound? To answer my question I think she was to some degree since she tried to hide what she did.

My guess thats about right. I (not being a pro) would say that if they can see a brain its too late Sorry I missed the link I would say 8 weeks is the max limit. But to be on the level I hate abortion !!! I am not God so this is a judgement call. If we as a society still believed in sin we wouldnt have to ask such questions

Here is a little bit for youse guys. At 14 I am not considered a adult. I can't drink, drive, smoke, vote, own firearms, have legal sex. Why can't I do any of those, but I am considered adult enough to face murder charges?

You read that wrong. It says "would-be grandmother", meaning the grandmother of the dead baby. How does a mother not notice that her 14 year old daughter is pregnant with a 10 pound baby?

Hey we are having a discussion here. I have been really trying hard to not sling too much shit. I have been dissatisfied with this sub forum lately and have been trying to get people to do some critical thinking in a discussion.

First of all, being legally an adult is different than being able to understand the consequences of your actions which can cause you to be legally tried as an adult. It's two different things.

Second, if this wasn't murder and just another type of abortion when does that stop? Can a mother abort their baby until 1 year old? Can she determine at any point in the childs life that she should strangle it to death and stick it in whatever type of box it fits in?

What she did was wrong, I will never disagree with that. My point is that its wrong to expect someone to make adult choices when they can't do adult activities. Get my drift?
