Nice. I miss the hardwood forests. It snowed here last night so the hunting is gonna get good fast.

Well, despite the wind and rain I still managed to see deer every sit and my friend filled his doe tag so it was a good first week-end on the new property. Seen video from the neighbor of a spike on the property with at least 12"-14" spikes, hope he doesn't get shot this year.

Here is the view from the stand that I have setup at my brother-in-laws place. Only seen does and button bucks so far, but I know there are some nice bucks nearby.

North Central. North-west of Santa Fe by about 2 hrs. By Abiquiu reservoir if you look on google maps. Base camp was set up at 10,000 ft.

Personally id cull a spike that big. Not the genetics id be looking for. Pretty property btw.

looking left and right, about 850 yds to shoot each way, always tag out in 2-3 days with nice bucks :)
