Default np435

Are there different shift forks between the years of a np435 life? the one i have right now it doesen't seem like the pivot ball inside of the bell housing is lining up properly with the clip on the fork.

This is having it not have enough throw to completely disengage the clutch.

Not sure what year trans it is, it is behind my 4.0 in my bII

From the searching I did, I don't see the NP 435 offered in the BII, it had a TK4 (Toyo Kogyo) 4 speed. Later the Mazda 5 speed.

I have a Mazda 5 speed with the internal slave for sale that was in my 93 ranger with a 4.0L and I'm in Green Bay. PM me if you are interested.

What makes you think it's a 435?

If the 435 is the one somebody up there got from me it is an 84. On my 81 Bronco I had to have a buddy machine me a longer nose piece for the adjuster to get enough travel to disengage the clutch. After a clutch replacement this was a T18 but linkage was similar to NP435 IIRC.
