Well, the Mounds is obviously too badass for anything but an all out comp rig now, so we should all stay home and web wheel where it's safe.

The mounds has a good mix for stock to well built. Isn't that what we all wanted? So what if they get on FB and attempt to stir some more attendance. Good for them, at least they are being proactive.

Yes, and that sucks. After we gave them the big presentation that if they would build the rock courses they would see an increase in visitors, I'm betting they probably wouldn't go through the effort again.

Thanks. I miss the driving aspect of going to the Mounds but I don't miss the huge amount of work it takes to keep a large rig running if you drive like a retard in the mud.

You're probably right. I think you may have said it before, but it seems with rocks and valleys, twisted trails, bundy hill, and the "mounds mud" comments there just isn't much interest in the mounds anymore.

I never went to the mounds and didn't have fun. I've even thought of just taking my truck up there to tool around with the kids on a busier day to watch, but don't know that there is a whole lot to watch....

I don't get why people bash the mounds.
When I had my jeep, I always had a blast there.
Stay out of the mud and play in the woods....it was always fun playing follow the leader. And that was prior to the rocks.

Been to the mounds twice. I had a ball both times, but when my jeep frame broke I didn't get back out.
I do want to get the F150 out there though, you can have a blast even with a stock truck. They should promote the 'something for everyone' aspect.

We like the outer back trails, but the over growth of trees and bushes, your Jeep paint will be scratched beyond repair. But for being close to home, its fun place to wheel !

I've enjoyed every trip I've taken to the mounds, even the ones when everything broke.

I have had fun every time I've been there. I can think of a time I went wheeling that I didn't have fun. It's not some place I would go every weekend, but it's nice to have a place to hit a few times of year to shake out a rig and get out with friends on the cheap.
