Default 7.3 powerstroke regulated return and fuel bowl delete (running w/o Fuel bowl heater)

Looking into doing the regulated return and fuel bowl delete on my '00 powerstroke. Has anyone ran without the fuel bowl heater in the winter here?

the fuel bowl heat on my 99 shorted out and kept blowing the fuse (which kills the engine).

So I unplugged the heater and never replaced it. I never had an issue, but I did use some anti-gel stuff in the winter if I knew it was going to sit overnight in really cold temps.

I just went through this with my obs powerstroke today lol. Thanks Bones, I'm glad to hear you didn't have any real trouble just running with anti-gel. I just did fresh oil changes with new fuel filters so it will probably be cold out when I get around to pull the bowl and do the RR.
