I just finished installing a new opti spark, plugs wires, Dana 60 front and some new gauges. I just got back from an 18 mile road test. All I have to do is paint my cage and I'm ready.

1) Ride sign up sheets are in the registration room upstairs each morning and Friday night.
2) Staging is in different parking lots depending who's ride you sign up for. You will be instructed on a time and location for your run to meet and have a drivers meeting when you sign up.
3) Saturday usually leaves around 9
4) Dinner is downstairs at the QI banquet room.
5) We try to have you back to the hotel from the trail by 4:30ish so you can clean up for the banquet which is early evening.

All times etc, get posted by/in the sign up room.

I have a few things in the explorer this week to get done. Frt wheel bearing, rear axle seals, and now i have to replace my winch. I was driving over to a buddies when i heard two loud bangs on the truck. I get out and look and find the winch smoking heavily from the motor and the fairlead and bumper damaged. Apparently the winch started pulling on its own. Ripped the hook through the fairlead and bent both rods separating the winch halves and i assume damaged the mounting pads and drum. Now i have a trail of goo drom the motor from stuff inside melting. I had to.scramble to disconnect the battery from the winch.

Best we can figure, it has a wireless remote, and something in the area i was in made to activate.

Guess I'll be installing my m8000 this week.

Email into engo, I have had two issues arise in the last 11 months with my winch and each time engo took care of it very quickly and at no cost to me. I have been pretty happy with their customer service and the winch to be honest (other then line speed).

They warrantied my syn rope when it snagged on the bolt that holds it to the drum, and the drum brake broke on me, which was an assembly error they admitted to, I and quickly sent me out a new drum and brake at no charge. Curious to see what they might do here.

Glad i was driving it when it happened, i thought something broke on the truck like a wheel bearing or something with how it felt. Had it been parked in my driveway or garage and did it i would think with how hot it was getting it could if easily become a fire issue.
