Mine was stupidity. Low hanger with little stub branch. I thought I could ease up and it would slide over the top. It didn't.
I also managed to bust both plastic surrounds on my side mirrors too. Speed wheeling by myself checking my trails wasn't too kind to my jeep.

On a side note, one of my trails has a large tree blocking. I was able to get around but I also clearly was breaking the law too. Thursday afternoon or Friday morning I plan to play lumberjack and do some unofficial wheeling if anyone wants to join.

Is that the fence line two track where the tree is?

This one?

Danimal & I were going to leave it and put some "stacking" material or wood ramps near by for those that need it.

OH NOOZE!
I don't want to be on the receiving side of Renegades's wrath if you cut 'his' tree out of the way!

Not sure how he could have 'gotten around it' if that was the tree Oz is talking about. Not a lot of 'side trail' you could use there.
So I doubt this is Oz's tree!

Easy ladies. This isn't my first rodeo. This tree is on a trail off Piper Lk. Its probably 20 inch in diameter the tree is broke off about 20 feet iup in the air 25 yards from the trail. Its leaning down over the trail about 5ft tall. In other words, there is no going over it as it stands. I'm betting it has a possibility off being a trail obstacle when I'm done though...

Yee haw bitches!

This particular trail doesn't see much use and its a loop so its not a connector to anything so I doubt anyone will clear this one. Wherethe tree is blocking is back in a cedar swamp next to a small lake. Without things being frozen, there would be no going around without losing your vehicle in perpetually nasty sticky mud.

I wish I would have taken a photo now. I'll take one before I clear it though. Its effectively a wall that a Bigfoot truck couldn't go over. A mini jeep couldn't go under. Its too big and fresh to break it with a winch. Its just bad in every way.

I think you and I are the only two who even know where that trail is.

Seems like every year there is a large tree that comes down. I slid off a few years ago towards the lake. We got it out and then Jim Roy decided to try it he eventually got out. It took a lot of driving "skill." And since you've seen how he operates a Jeep I think you know what I mean by skill.

After last years snow storm in march all the small unused trials that I go down all have trees down on them, those are the best trails up there cause there the only ones not as big as a road. the area south of county line, east and west of fairview a bit between mio and west branch is the best area up there for trails I think.

Yeah I think your right. Besides some mild use by ATVs to fish the lake, it sees virtually zero traffic. Its long overdo for a brushing too but I keep telling myself its fun. After my windshield incident I may do a little bit of that too when I go clear that tree.

Is there a group headed towards the Rose city area? I guess it would be north and east of west branch.

OZ if your talking about the JK , are you talking about the plastic covers for the whole mirror or the plastic cover for the mirror bracket ??
