I ordered a pretty kick ass Rigid led light bar from Dale of www.ironmanoffroad.com

I can't wait to get them mounted and wired for the night run.

White or yellow beam? I'd like to see a yellow set in person before I drop that kind of coin.

You know, I didn't ask. I'm sure he ordered the white, not the amber. I'm getting it in 10" and Dale is getting good prices on these right now.

I'm thinking about getting one of these too. Have the rugged ridge HIDs, bright but the bulbs go out all the time...

My LEDs are a few years old now so I don't know if the issue is resolved now, but I found that I can't run my LEDs and my CB at the same time. At first I thought it was just a power issue sending feedback, but after doing more research I've found it's a fairly common issue. The LEDs send a bunch of RF static that the CB antenna picks up. It doesn't happen with all LEDs, but it's fairly common. Something in the circuit board I guess. I hear it's fairly common with HIDs too. Then again, for what it's worth, cruising through heavily wooded areas at a whopping 5 mph doesn't exactly require lots of light so my factory headlights and foglights do the trick just fine. Personally I like my fancy "offroad" lights most when I'm on the road.

I have a set of white and a set of amber Rigid Duallys. The amber is nice in heavy snow / fog / rain, but in clear weather the color is a bit dark so they appear to be not near as bright. I really wish they would offer them in yellow because I've run yellow bulbs in offroad lights before and they worked great in the snow and such, but also "looked" bright enough that it didn't seem like you couldn't see.

I may be interested too. I had a 10 inch Specter but High Center Hancho stole / bought it from me before I ever got to install it. He installed it on his racing go cart for a Trec race. It was stupid bright. I was going to buy another one but money got sidetracked somehow and never did.

To me, for a trail rig, super bright lights don't do much. Unless you are leading trail, they are useless. If you are leading trail, I agree with OZ, you aren't going fast enough to need them. The only place I've seen them be necessary is places like out west where you can run pretty durn fast.

I have a set of KC highlights that are rarely ever turned on. I'm a long way from dropping a lot of coin for LED's.

My headlights suck. And I have no auxiliary lights. And I like night wheeling, and lead night runs. So, I thought I'd try it out. I hope it doesn't interfere with my CB. That would be a bummer.

So it makes sense for you. Especially since you will need to be prepared to lead trails in Canada.

I thought I was gonna put a new steering box in today but none of the local stores can even order one for me.
Dealer wants $850 for theirs so PSC it is. At least I will be half-way there when it's time for hydro-assist.
I was really hoping to get the jeep ready to roll since I go back on overtime for the next couple weeks.

Just broke down and re-sealed 3 tires with Adam, looked at my date stamps... 1990 that should hold now. Went for a test drive, NO power but it idled great but revved slow. Checked header temps and the entire right bank was dead. Cleaned up the plugs and she runs like a raped ape again I was getting worried I was going to have to take the H3 and run the stocker run!

Are we supposed to get an email confirmation?

I finally test drove my Jeep to the exhaust shop after some upgrades. Yay for an exhaust system that isn't hacked up.

Took a trip up to r&v today... Had a great time but now I have to fix my heep before snofari.

Fuel pump died, and had a heck of a time getting it off the trail... smucked up the kcs, trashed a fender and due to some unfortunately placed rock managed to tear off the grease zert, cracking the cap on a ujoint all while getting towed out. The trails were slick :)
