I really hope I make it! Gonna suck missing out after such a great time last year. With the event growing so rapidly is there any plans to expand the number of rigs next year? Maybe more trail guides, bigger hotel etc.

You build a bigger hotel, put in more trails to keep it spread out and enjoyable and it can be considered.

It's already been brought up in this thread and unfortunately it will never happen.

Keep it the same size and increase the price.
Supply and demand, here is a chance to get some more money for the GLFWDA.

Things are good how they are. No raising of prices.

I don't have a supply and demand right now? The price won't change unless the hotel starts charging more.

Don't make it over priced like some runs have been in the past. First come, first served, have fun.

Adding more people is really hard to do. There are only so many trails to run, so many trail leaders and only so much room in the hotel. Seems about perfect right now.

All I read is Joe is going to make a sizable donation to GLFWDA on behalf of all the people that will be attending snofari this year

Raising the price? I don't think that is such a good idea. I mean if everything is going smoothly right now, why change it? 60 rigs is a minimum of $3,300. That's not even including passengers! I like the idea of a first come first serve but for having what, 87 forms the first day?!? That's crazy! I just hope I make it in. Of all the great things I heard about it last year, I've been looking forward to it since!

Maybe have it twice? 2 groups back to back weekends. Ya there is the problem of rigs and guides holding up.

Its also Monday... The suspense of who made the cut is killing me.

There was another club's snow run the following weekend last year. I'll be bummed if I don't get in on Sno-Fari though.

there are three that I know of, sno-fari, sno-blind, and one that a club does on there own more of a trail ride than an event like the other two.

I see guys wheeling up there all winter long some groups large than others but there is always someone wheeling in the snow.

To make the event any larger will ruin the event, it will not feel like a large fun really well organized trail ride, it will feel like you waiting in line to get up the hill just to find yourself waiting to go up the next one again and again.

No event will be perfect for everyone but this one is really good for everyone. You dont feel out of place in a hardcore rig or a DD there is something for everyone. Everything is kept lite by keeping the event the size it is.

The amount of work done just for 60 rigs is huge, do it for more than one weekend would a ton more. The people that do events like Jeep Jamboree do it as a full time job. This is all done in sapre time by volunteers. The people putting on the event want to enjoy there hard work as well so give them a break about changing how it works and enjoy what they do for you, and enjoy the event.

I was thinking maybe there was a bigger hotel in the area that we could transfer to as the event grows. I figured there were enough trails but i dont know the area so I suppose im wrong. I understand just a bummer for the people who dont make the cut and the money that the will GLFWDA miss out on.

X2 this is an expensive event as it for a poor college kid.....wheeling is not a cheap sport but is an absolute blast and I plan to spend my money on it for many years to come

Thats an idea but one event is stressful and time consuming enough not sure how they could go about that
