How much road riding if any is there? And do the rigs have to be street legal and plated and insured? I know it says licensed. Just making sure

Several miles depending on who's run you're on. Yes licensed, plated, insured, etc so you can legally drive on public roads.

My group was stopped briefly by the DNR to make sure things were in order and that we had the proper paperwork, permits, etc... All was good and we were quickly on our way.

Some runs, including mine, could likely see more than 20 miles on the pavement before we hit any real trails. I personally try take a more scenic / backroad route to my wheeling destination, but if the snow is deep enough I may just drive the road to get to the good stuff as soon as possible.

I agree with Renegade too that your Bronco wouldn't likely fit where we go. My JK barely fits down most of these trails and there are numerous low branches and such (some quite large) that wouldn't agree with your Bronco. There are some runs though that are geared for more stock type rigs that generally run more open trails that would fit your rig.

Actually I'm not sure I agree with Renegade or Oz. Your vehicle will fit but it will get laced with scratches. Unless you are over 82" or so wide outside of tire to outside of tire, you will fit through the trails. Your body is wider than a jeep but overall you're not any wider than many of us running jeeps with full width axles. Same goes for height..... expect scratches.

That said, expect to be rubbing your roof/top on trees as many of the trails have lots of off camber tight turns around trees.

I fit down the trails last year with full width axles and high offset wheels. Sure there were times my tires were rubbing trees on both sides BUT I fit

If you are worried about scratches than you may have a problem with some of the trails.

I "fit" down all the trails last year and my rig is 90" wide (dually axles and stock h1's). I give no fux about scratches and body damage though.

Yeah not to worried about scratches and dents. I'm also planing on going down 3-6 inches with tube fenders for protection and clearance. To me there's nothing dinner than stuffing a full size down jeep trails!! Thanks guys! Count me in!!

I think I am 87 inches wide. I fit down every thing we went down too. Haven't found much I can't figure out a way to squeeze thru.
