Default Hey lifted truck drivers.

Serious question time. How is it you can have a lifted truck with all kinds of modifications and bald tires? I swear 75% of lifted trucks have bald tires. I saw one today, lifted chevy dmax, 6+ inches of lift, dual fox shocks and no tread on the tires.

Bought a truck they can barely afford the payment on so they can't afford new tires. 44's aren't as cheap as they thought.

This and oversize tires like that are not a very hard compound that is meant for the road. They are soft for traction off road. This is about the only thing I wish they would check for when you get new tags for your plate. Bald tires + lift + rain + econo box car= A not so free hospital visit.

People make poor decisions and think being flashy is what is important not keeping it on the road.

It is like pulling up next to a Lincoln on 28's with custom paint, subs you can hear from space and yet it blows a big cloud of blue smoke when it pulls away.

People don't think about the cost of replacing the tires. They just think the truck looks so cool they are willing to spend most of their income on the payment.

My daily has 6 inches and 35s on it with about 60% tread...it's an old bronco though...so I'm not making payments and can afford to keep up on it.

yup. I love it, out here you see house trailers with new camaros, trucks and orv/bikes in the yard. these roughnecks/miners are so dumb, in 20 years they will be renting still.

My tires are not bald. About 1/2 tread. And new ones are over 500$ a tire.. I'm starting to save now.
