Default West Michigan Well Drilling

Anybody have any information about drill companies around this area? Found a company 50 miles away from the home and they've come in ~ 4000.00 below everybody else.

At 4k below everyone else? My gosh man how deep do you have to go?
IIRC mine was 12 bucks a foot to bore a hole for 5" casing, this was about 8 years ago though.

Gonyons was ~2500 higher. We are only going about 50 feet. Slow is not an option, we just got cleared to close today, so that means there has to be a satisfactory well test presented. I think we have it handled now.

We had a commercial grade well installed in Hemlock for our family diner, I seem to recall the price being around $3500, to good, clean water. He was quick and courteous. I remember his first name is John, and I THINK his last name is Bell, but I would have to look him up. He did our commercial septic system for less than $4500. I'll do some checking when I know for sure the pricing.

By the sounds of it, for what ever reason well drillers either don't want the work, or the common pricing is higher. My dad had his well put in, 4'' @ 150ish feet was like 10,000.

The 1st well guy I called quoted me somewhere in the neighborhood of 7500-7800! I asked him if it was any cheaper if I got a skidsteer and did some excavating and used the auger bit, it could get around 10 feet back where I would excavate. Told him I I did that it would be damn near dug, that they would only have to punch through the last 20-30 feet. He didn't find the funny.
