what are the rules about stealing the ball from the guy that initially caught it? especially when they are hitting the ground, regardless if it's in the end zone or not. should stealing the ball while in a scrum really count? was there a camera shot from the other sideline? it would be more helpful. did not see the game.

i'd say "bad call"

doesn't matter who had the ball. It was offensive pass interference. Play was already dead.

That said, tie goes to the offense in a jump ball situation. Can't judge well enough who has the ball based on the video to overturn the call on the field.

It looks like the defender came down with the ball, the play isn't over yet until he goes to a knee, which is when the alleged tie begins.

rule states that in the event of a receiver and defender possessing the ball at the same time the ball will be awarded to the offense. BUT, the rule also states that whoever has clear possession first is awarded the ball. Jennings clearly had the ball first with full possession and Tate just stuck his hand in there. This is also negating the blatantly obvious offensive pass interference that Tate commited by shoving one of the GB players in the back to the ground before he jumped for the ball. Even the ref had signaled it a touchback but the other ref was a dumbass and ruled it a touchdown. THe fact that the play was even reviewed and still upheld as seahawks ball is an embarrassment to the NFL officials. This is getting completely out of hand. Those officials should be ashamed of themselves

The saddest part is Goodell is totally ok with the piss poor officiating. He is fining players and coaches when they speak out about a shitty call. The lions were screwed when a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct was walked off for 27 yards in overtime, that's the basics of officiating how do you fukc that up.

The real refs must be loving this

Doesn't matter, the lions were too stupid to Keep it simple and just tie the game.

You were expecting more out of the Lions, the team that would rather take the wind instead of the ball in OT?

I thought it was a great call. But I also think fukc greenbay from September to February.

That said, that call was rediculous. How do you ignore a reciver shoving a defender to the ground??

No, I didn't expect anything. I just know they made the poor call irrelevant.

I don't mind going for the win, the Lions' D blows anyway, but I hate quarterback draw as a play choice.
