Gotta little more done. 2" lift installed and started welding the front bumper.

Looks very hillbilly, maybe you should have steered the customer in a better direction

I'm not at every event but I go down there as often as I can. I have a 1985 Audi 4000S Quattro I race in Prepared All Wheel Drive. I'm outgunned by about 175 hp with the WRX STi's but I still manage to do pretty well and the people at the events are very nice.

This is constructive criticism. I feel that bumper has a huge moment arm based on how you are securing it. In race conditions I don't think the supports will keep it straight or it will flex. If it flexes, it will crack and break. The choice of what appears to be 3/16 thick stock will be a contributing factor for any bending or breaking.

One last thing. I would drill out mounting holes large enough to put a support tube in and weld it back up.

Other than that, it looks fine (may be disproportianatly beefy). I read a book on fabricating once so now I'm an expert.

Bumpers typically don't like being held on in single shear construction.

Cool in a retarded way. I like it actually. However, you really need to cap those tubes on the front bumper. Little details like that make it look very hack.

X2, all I see is an unfinished bumper. It would not look that bad if the caps get put on.

Looks like a super neat DD, not sure how useful it would be rallying though. I'd drive it though.
