We will be the same, yet transformed to a glorious state, as will Jesus in the second coming.

Got a call from the seller of the home I'm trying to buy. Everything has been going smoothly up until there was an issue with the well. Long story short, the home needs a new one. Seller said that she couldn't afford a new well, and if I wasn't going to pay the full price of a new one, she would wait out our purchase agreement, and that since it's her deceased father's estate she would just give the home back to the state. After a flurry of phone calls it looked like we were at a stand still. I prayed, and I prayed hard. I then received a phone call that from the seller that she decided she would pay 1/2 of the cost, then received another phone call from a relative who knew the situation and they said they would GIVE me the money needed to make the sale happen. I didn't ask God for money, I asked him for direction. He opened to doors for us to proceed.
So because people helped you, you think god exists?

On the other hand collin died of cancer and left his wife and child behind. I'm sure they asked for gods help, where was he then? Collins life was a Hell of a lot more important than your home sale. Who gives a shit about you selling your house other than you? Selling a house wasn't life or death was it? If he is more concearned about a house sale than a good man dying young and leaving a family behind then I would say he has his priorities messed up. Maybe good and bad things happen by coincidence and not by and act of god. Sit back and think about it with an OPEN MIND once, not one that has been clouded by the Christian cult.... I mean church. Or I guess you could just drink the koolaid and hop aboard the grey hound commet to the promise land.

I am a scientist, and I realize the very little that we know and understand. The europeans once thought the world was flat because that's what their eyes and knowledge told them...Just saying. We know very little so try to open your mind to the possibilities.

But if you look at my original post I not only anticipated that this thread would likely turn into a flame fest but also predicted that it would be Steveo manning the flame thrower.

Believe what you want. When you dead your dead! Your either gonna be burned, buried, or cut up like a cow for you organs. As I said believe what you want but don't push your religion bs on me. There maybe a god there may not be a god frankly I don't give a damn. Everything happens for a reason.

If there is a great wondrous being that some of you speak of answer me this.
Why would he rob a family of their baby? Why would this being rob a family of their great father when he's only in his thirties? These are just a couple examples. I used to believe in this so called being. Until I seen these things happen. Now I say if there is a god he/ she is not a good being.

If find it interesting of the condemnation of Christian believers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see where Christian is condemning any of you for your beliefs, why do you people think it right to condemn up for ours?
There is so much anger and a demand for answers. Is it the fear of not knowing what happens to you when you die? Every wonder what would happen if any of you sincerely ASKED for resolve?

I don't see where any of the Christian believers say they know all the answers. It's the faith that there is one. As stated, everything happens for a reason. The drive behind that reasoning is what propels but divides us.

And Steve, I'm still waiting for you to quote your source on your stated 'fact' that only poor and uneducated people believe in God.

Interesting choice of words. In fact, according to Christian beliefs, anyone who doesn't believe in Jesus is "condemned".
