I don't think ours is on yet. I am not allowed to touch the thermostat so I don't know for sure. It hasn't gotten cold enough for me to think it's kicking on. We did insulation two years ago so the house maintains its heat/cool pretty well.

I will be checking mine some time in the next week or 2. I have no set date when to turn it on. If its cold I use it. Anything else would just be stupid.

I had a little fire last night. Woke up and it was 80. I think I will br waiting a few more weeks to fire the wood burner again. The furnace will not be used at all. I am not a slave to the gas man.

been running the heater up here. Its cold and ive been sick so its worth it.

Still hanging at the summer shack, when the dogs start trying to climb into bed with me I'll head back south. Other house is passive solar design so I'll get another month before I need to fire up the wood burner.
