Default The coolest keyboard ever

Every key of the Optimus keyboard is a stand-alone OLED display showing exactly what it is controlling at this very moment. So you can have just letters of any font or any language or program shortcuts or even game speciefic key images show up. And it can also do animated images as well!

I want one It is supposed to be released in by the end of 2006

Here is a link to the manufacturer site http://www.artlebedev.com

That one sucks to use. We bought one for a project at work and ditched it. It's a good concept for industrial apps but typing on it requires a lot of effort and is uncomfortable for a long time.

I was thinking about it for use with a pocket pc...namely an iPAQ.

I would accidently hit the language button all the time. So i'd probably just end up breaking it, if it didn't break on it's own first.

They had a very good, almost production model at SIGGRAPH this year. Was out for the public to abuse for 4 days and kept on ticking.

They said the biggest problem they've had with it is interfacing to some programs. They said they really want to have it integrated to as many consumer apps as possible before it's released to avoid bad press.

That one's mine.

It was $300, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Put it on an inclined board, like a book with something under it, and it wasn't so bad.
