Default Clear lake just north of mackinaw bridge?

Hey guys
When i was a kid we went up to mackinaw for a weekend. One of the days we went just crossed the bridge to a state park or park of some kind on a lake. They had a boat with a clear bottom and we could see the bottom of the lake all the way crossed it. Anyone know where that is?

If you go a bit further west of St Ignace theres a spring fed lake named Kitchitikipi which means Big Springs. I know they have a float boat system for viewing the bottom of the lake. Its near Thompson.

Yes Big Spring. Kitchi-iti-kipi, it's only about 1.5 hours the other side of the bridge.

Look up Palms Book State Park We were just there ourselves last week. It is just outside Manistique.
