I have an "86 cj with a stock front axle that is bent. Do you have a dana 30 that would fit, or even better an dana 44 that would fit?

yes i have a wide track dana 30, do you know your gear ratio?
i also have a scout dana 44 housing with gears that would work
it would need shafts out though

any one piece amc 20 axles?

how about gearing set ups for the amc 20/d30? Have ring and pinion sets for 3.07 or 3.31 axles? I have the 2.72 ratio... will I need a new carrier?
maybe it's better for me to just buy axles from you and not re-gear mine...????

I know a guy with a set of narrow trac one piece shafts
We could probably do some gear set up if necisarily
And I believe the carrier break on a 20 is 373
I do have a amc20 with 354 gears
I'm not sure about a matching 30 though

hmm I'll have to see if I want to go as high as 3.54

Well I have a few axles I'm just not sure of what the ratios are
I might have sone 3.31 or something
But why wouldn't you want to go to 3.54?

hmmm well the gear calculators I've used just make it look to me like that going to a lower gear such as 3.54 will just have me turning higher rpm's around town and such than would be desirable.

If I was going to be running the 258, I think I would do that... but I thought that was a lower gear than I'd want for streetability. I guess I'm especially thinking of the freeway.... but I guess if I get up to that high of speed.... I'll have things to worry about besides the engine speed.....
