Default Great Customer Service

Some of you may remember that I purchased a $200 pair of rear tail lights from Northridge 4x4. They are also now carried by

They are made specifically for Jeeps...not completely flat, but very low profile and include side lights as well to remain legal.

Well, one of them crapped out on me on my run this past weekend. At first, it looked as though one LED had simply quit and wasn't lighting up. By the end of the day 3 or 4 LEDs were out and 4 or 5 others were constantly brighter than the rest (brake mode).

Needless to say, I was a little pissed as I've only had them about 4 months.

A quick email to Northridge4x4 and this was the response:


I agree this should not happen but we are very sorry it did. We will get a new pair out to you. Please confirm this address is correct

I then received two emails from the actual manufacturer:


David has forwarded me this message, we will be sending you a
replacement set, hopefully by the end of this week, we're finishing a
production run as I type this and we will ship you a full set once we
have them ready.

As for why or what yours are doing, I am not sure. I will be eager to
see them (there will be a return tag included in the box) when they get
back here, but rest assured, you're getting a complete new set. We have
found a few things that we have improved during our assembly process,
and the current units have far fewer if any issues than the early units.

We have identified a problem that may cause some LEDs to fail in our
LiteDOTs. We have rectified, tested, and proven the solution. All DOTs
are currently shipping with the solution. We anticipate your
replacement set shipping next week when we complete a production run.


Needless to say...this kicks ass...always thrilled to receive great customer service and both of these companies will get my business again.

BTW.... will match pricing on the web...great customer service and great pricing.

Mark at Northridge is tops in my book. I bought a set of rockcrusher diff covers from them. One came with no fill plug. Rockcrusher put one in a envelope to me. Damn envelope came empty with a hole on one end. So I called Mark who next day air me a new plug. Got my Aussie lockers from them for a great price too. Nice folks.
