The Democratic control of Congress in 2009 and 2010 did little to help him get anything passed in 2011 and 2012. Most of his first 2 years were spent passing health care reform and economic stimulus packages. Since then most of the debate in congress has been about the deficit and debt, which neither side can agree on. So itís not so much that heís done nothing, itís that he hasnít done anything that the right wants him to do.

The checks and balances of our political system. The debt should be a top priority right now, we are going to fail economically if we don't stop spending more than we are taking in. Our country is so messed up right now, any way we turn is going to be painful. I'm ok with the (continued) painful process as long as be are rebuilding our finances and eventually bringing our country back to financial prosperity. Others in our country can't grasp that there is no painless way of recovering, it's too late to be pain free.

The $1.17 trillion figure was $70 billion less than at the same point in fiscal year 2011, CBO noted, driven mostly on higher federal revenues.

But it doesn't mean a whole lot when you're a couple billion miles away from where you were 4 years ago.

Just which direction are we talking about?
Far left to the point of socialism and creating a society that expects something for nothing? Because that is the direction we are headed.

I'd probably hurt myself trying to explain metaphors to you. I'll just leave you to wonder what I meant.

And would you rather vote for Mitt Romney or Willard Romney?
