Default 2000 Ford V10-SOLD

Bought an Excursion to do a Cummins swap on. Selling original v10 motor and trans(2wd, auto). Everything seemed to work like it should(only drove it a couple times). Looks like it needs a head gasket though. White residue on oil cap. Had a buyer...deposit and everything, but I guess he doesn't want it now. Previous owner said it was rebuilt by Chesterfield motors or something. If I can get them to look at it, and possibly fix it under warranty.....the price will go up.

Motor and trans, AS IS.......$1000

White residue is kinda normal for a triton motor. Condensation builds under the cap. My parents f150 w/5.4 has had the residue under the cap for 100k. They have 250+ on it now. I see that ALL the time at work.

How many miles on trans and 4wd?

Sorry....2wd. I think the odometer shows 220,something. I'll sell whatever I don't need for the Cummins swap. So if that includes the computers, so be it.

Ok.....just talked with the owner of Chesterfield Engine. He assured me that it's just condensation from the brutal weather we've been having, and the idling, and the short running periods when moving the truck around in the driveway and such. I'm going to try and do a compression check on it and see what I come up with.

Is this still available? Think I have a warped head on my engine. What's your bottom dollar?
