Needs a better cage? Says who? Is there some government body going around checking cages and you have the inside track on his assesment date? If that is the case, quick, call him so he can get it all up to snuff.

Let me guess, you are the type of guy that wears a helmet to ride a bicycle? Its ok to admit that you are, and I will not tell you that people laugh at you often when your not around.

Could you guys do me a favor and figure out what is POS about this jeep in a uniform list? Some say he cannot drive, others say the whole jeep is a POS, and yet others say it just needs more cage. I am sure the owner is holding his breath wating for your thoughts on how to improve it, so maybe just one spokesperson could step up and show him the rig that they have that is faster and safer than his so he can model himself after you?

Sure comes close to using his cage here! Nobody plans on using their cage (unless you are TC). What you said is the most ignorant thing I have heard on this site in a while!

I have my money on Hancho, I could have walked up that hill faster. I am pretty sure most of us here could just sit in the driver seat and whack the throttle and get out of control pretty easily.

Hilljack is obvious hilljack. The pros that go fast in a straight line do have a "government body" doing cage checks. You guys are just small time hilljack heroes so you probably wouldn't know anything about all that. Oh, and they require specific helmets, not just the special ed kind.

You mean, like the places he races? lol Yes, he passes tech every weekend, and has the proper ratings on his helmet I am sure.

You act as if he only races this thing at brush events? You really do not know anything about sand drags do you?

Bens Jeep would fly up that hill about as good as that Jeep would fly up baldy? Pretty cool though, but I did notice that he flipped his Jeep and ben did not?

I did not make it to the opening of the track at twisted trails, I stopped short at Green's that weekend, but I did not hear much good about it. I wont make a decision about it until I have been there and raced, maybe next season. SLSD is a pretty good track if you ask me, and Green's is right up there with it. Good people is pretty much all i need to enjoy a track though (Although I did haul down to the "track" that was built at Bundy Hill... not going to happen)

i guess i dont understand what the purpose of this jeep is. i see a huge engine with way more power than the vehicle (or maybe the driver?) can handle. these vids prove that this thing is too overpowered because you cant do anything with it. i cant imagine it winning too many races when it is 10ft in the air off the launch. honestly i would compare the usefulness of this jeep to this one-

I am not sure of the history of the place, it is just west of Owosso. There is a pond and a house, but i do not recall a gravel pit. It was my first time up there Here is the vid:

I would think with a change of tires, but I dont see it getting up there like it was in the vid.

Not a Jeep, but still pretty cool. We see some guys with rigs like that over in TN and GA from time to time, I am sure they are getting down and having fun

Trust me, it goes damn fast when he wants it too, doing what it was built to do. It also flys up Mt Baldy even with the front hanging in the air.

FYI, his motor is not that big at all, little small block chevy. It does however have a little help on top though

yep, seen the buggy shop in town. I met a ton of cool people there that day.

Long time? Not really. Been going to Silver Lake for a real long time, raced 1/4 mile stuff for a good while, and about 3 years ago built the Jeep to run on the sand.
