Default 1979 f-150

Has anyone ever seen a 1979 F-150 with auto locking hubs?

They will automatically lock if you have someone riding bitch that doesn't want to walk home, other than that no. What would lock them? Vacuum?

Some had factory drive flanges and were considered full time 4wd. I have one in my bronco right now. I believe they were the same ones that had a 203, instead of a 205 t-case. That's my understanding anyway.

That's what I am thinking. I have read about full time four wheel drives that all three of the big three played with in the 70s but I have never seen one and haven't found much useful information on the interwebz.

If it is full time it's most likely a 203 case. Mile Marker makes a conversion for it. Used to be very common in the 80's.
