Default 1998 Ram DD (Smoke Bomb)

Well sold my last truck, and didnt plan on buying another.. But seen this truck on the side of the road on the way to school and couldn't help myself.

It a 1998 dodge ram with the 360 with some sort of 5" lift on 35's. It seems like it runs and drives good for a lifted truck. The rockers and fender wells are rusty not too bad compared to some ive seen tho. I plan on driving through the winter and the other day i was moving it and let it run and turned the heat on and wouldnt you know it started blowin smoke out of the vents . It didnt do this when i test drove it so im thinking the guy put something in it and it didn't hold.

The Plans for now
-new steering box
-Fix the heater core
-Fender Flares

Thats all i can think of for now then just drive it and see what happens.

Naw not really man. I just always remembered seeing it there for the last like six years lol. It looked like he took decent care if it. I never seen it muddy or anything. He had a for sale on it a couple times through out the six years. Looks like a nice truck though.

Well the beast finally is gona be done for now. It stopped making any oil pressure at idle, and only like 30 at any other rpm. So i drove it like that for a week or so till it smoked so much and had no power. i will be lloking for another motor to swap in the next few months.

Well no major progress got the truck got the motor in and running runs and drives pretty good now. Me and my buddy headed up to silver lake and it did fairly good. Except a few minor electrical issues from the water, and possibly a bent axle.

My next upgrades will probably be more lift, axles, tires etc..
