Default Disposing of old home windows Holly area

Redoing everything on the house and have about 22 windows that I changed out. Some of the wood frames are in rough shape and the window cracks and latches are missing but glass is in good shape just needs a good cleaning. But is there a place that will come pick these up or where I can take them to instead of the dump? Have 6 doorwalls as well to go with the lot.

Try Craigslist. People use them for craft type stuff (like my wife does) if they're not in too bad of condition . She'd probably take them if I told her about them but she already has around 30 of them laying around now and I don't need any more to trip over.

Place a sign that says "Aluminum Framed Windows $10 each"
Put everything down by the curb.

Thought of this but afraid it might bring the weirdos...

Live out in the country. Might take a few down to the road to see if someone decides to take.

Do you have a friend in the city? Those would seriously disappear from my curb in about an hour if I put them out there.

On a related note... I am told that our garbage hauler will pick up bulk items at no additional charge. I wouldn't know if that's true though since any large item (old stove, toilets, broken washing machines, dirty old couches...) are taken by scavengers long before the garbage man actually arrives.

If they are wood 6 panels throw them on C-List, I received a 100 calls on mine. Antique collectors and artist called to paint them, or incorporate them into some shed or studio. My brother used them on an old out-building on his property and just screwed them to the outside so he could let some light in.

I will probably take your 4 best ones. We are going to be building a small cabin up north and they will probably be perfect.

Yeah depending on their uniqueness us ladies have lots of re purpose window projects pinned on pinterest. Since you're in the holly area shoot sjhenderson18 a pm too - they are into that stuff too and might use it for cold frames for gardens or chicken coops, or you could probably sucker him into getting rid of them for you lol.

How rough of shape are they in? I'm looking to put a couple small windows in my garage, and cheap to free would be nice if they aren't junk.

Best pictures I have of the windows:

Damage on the large picture window at the bottom.

If someone is interested in taking a first hand look and is close by shoot me a PM and we can figure out a time. Just want space back in my garage.

If they are free, I'm probably interested in a few. I can pick some up this weekend.

Habitat for humanity re-store takes all that kind of stuff. Gets you a tax write off also.

Not sure if there's one in your area, but there's a few down here.

I believe the windows would need to be with all hardware and cleaned up. Rather just give them away and not have to deal with transporting them

Pm me with the address and a phone number. Would be Sunday rather then Friday, so I'd call to make sure you are there.

Drive down 75, and toss them out in regular intervals, pretend the load was tied wrong (tell the cops the wife did it) should be rid of them in what, 22 miles or so?

Plus you get the fun of watching cars swerve into guard rails, and slam into each other at highway speed, possibly causing a rollover or three! Not condoning this behavior, but take pics if you do.

If rather take video but then I have evidence against me. How about going out at like 4am and putting them randomly in the road standing up? Would this have the same affect :D
