Default restoring a warn 8274

I traded my mile marker for an old style 8274 a couple weeks ago and I would like to get it all fixed up and looking good. my plans are to get a new motor, solenoids, cover, rope and a hawse fairlead. which parts should I get and how far should I tear it down? The po said it just stopped working one day but other than that it always functioned great.
I hate being bipolar, its great!

jeep turned buggy now back to jeep

Here is a link that I used to rebuild my 8274 and my friends. http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/8274/

Most parts are still available through Warn.

I did mine about six months ago.I put a warn 4.6 motor on it with the new style solonoid pack, works so good it is scary.Crazy fast and pulls hard.
They are so easy to work on and all the parts are available on line or through almost any auto parts store.
The hardest part usually is getting the brake off,if it has been sitting for awhile.I reccomend using it for a few good hard pulls before you tear it apart,if it still works. That way the brake will hopefully unstick it self before you tear it apart.
