Got a little time on the rig this week, working 12s...poooo

Anyway I noticed frame seemed to be bending after sand lake and r and v the following weekend.
So I decided to plate all the unused holes in the frame, and tie more of the cage into the frame. Especially in the front from my stinger back to the windshield. In the process my sawsall got Carried away and removed my front fenders. ..oops

This b what I removed

Side view after fenders cut more AND stinger tipped up 4".

Front view with fenders cut

Crappie down shot, showing the tubes shooting out of fenders from the roll cage.

Also started building a truss for the super chevy 60 front!

Also off subject a little, cut about 12 feet off my gooseneck this week, hoping to lighten the load a little and only have to haul one rig. Burned out from hauling two. Between tire costs and tie downs for both each year, two gets pricy to haul.
After

Before

Got fuel pump, and regulator for the 6.0 this week, harness is about 2 weeks out yet...bummer
Still need headers. ..but thats all..then its a swap! Whoot!

I like your jeep but for the stinger. Too tall for me and no gussetts so it would fold if it were ever put to a test. Glad it's working well for you.

Hahaha yeah it had gussets I cut em off last night.
Height=trying to preserve as much hood as possible in a roll over, which it has workd for, aint no hood dents lol.
Otherwise I hate the thing, too tall and hangs out too far, but id also hate to re do my hood and louvers.

It will be completely tied into the roll cage thru the tube fenders again. So shell hold the rig up!

I mean no disrespect. To each their own on their rig. FWIW, I rolled my jeep and between my front hoop and windshield hoop, never touched the hood.

I say run what you like.... The stinger is your thing, run it. But personally, a stubby stinger is my vote.

Wish I would of known you were going to cut up your trailer. We might of been able to work a trade deal with my bumper pull and your goose neck. I kinda want a 2 place but can't justify the cost right now.

Would've let people know but didn't for 2 reasons.
Worked ok for a 2 place, needed a 3rd axle and new tires.
It was slowly starting to fall apart, it was sell it really cheap and have to pay $$$ for a better one.
Or fix this one so it was perfect for what I wanted.
Honestly I dont think u would have sold it to my worst enemy, it was in rough shape.

I do know a guy selling his 28 foot gooseneck, looking for a bumper pull. Possibly trade him? His trailer is in way better shape.
He was the maroon cj7 at sand lake.

Was that the jeep I crawled on the tire and it went flat?

Get me some more info I'm interested. Seeing that I have 2 bumper pull trailers so if I'm only pulling my rig I can use a single or double up to save some fuel money.

Yep thats the jeep!

Tim vanwagoner 616-240-7339

Its 26 or 28 feet of deck, dont remember 100%. It held my jeep and the booger truck fine. Triple axle, deck is in pretty good shape. Its wood in the middle and steel where the vehicle tires drive. Has fold down ramps, as well as ramps on the front, like mine had..but his unbolt if u don't want em on.
Think its on Craigslist.

Well got a fuzz more done tonight.

Added some to the rear cage of the jeep, and yep..u guessed it..cut 6" out of my stinger.
I like the looks better, but its still kinda tall. Tipped it up as well. Picking up a bender tomorrow so I can finish the front fenders.

New stinger length and angle

Old

Here is what I added to the rear cage needs some paint.

Should get fuel pump for the 6.0 thia week...then all I got is headers, and install!
Getting close!
