They responded on Facebook that you will in fact have to pay twice if you want to wheel and compete.

That being said i am out for the comp. Can't justify 50+$ in park fees and i for sure want to wheel with some friends that day so i will skip the comp.

So I should come beat my rig up for the paying spectators and we get none of that money. Then pay more to wheel your park.

Sounds like they don't really want to succeed at this whole off-road park thing huh? They need to rethink how they run competitions. Pretty soon no one will go.

Competitors pay out of pocket to compete, gas $ to and from event, entry fee $, food concession $. That's a lot of money being spent to go to a comp at an off road park nd you want to charge these guys an entry fee to wheel your park? You guys should start paying the competitors just to show up. They bring in the crowds. Remember they can compete anywhere, plenty of places to go and have fun. Extreme Truck Challenge was a great event, high payout and great prizes, something to be said about that, just my .02

I agree why should you have to pay twice. Sounds like they won't have many competitors . It may not affect the amount of spectators this time but you can be sure word will get out that it's not worth going to as there aren't any competitors to watch. Seems like a bad business decision to me. I was planning on going to spectate and maybe wheel but not now.

The way they worded it on fb is "everyone entering the park is responsible for normal riding fees" and then "there will be a separate sign in area to pay comp fee". I would take that to mean that even if i show up only to compete and not wheel i still have to pay the standard park fee which nearly doubles the cost to compete.

I asked if that was the case and will update with their answer

They answered that yes i was correct. So if you plan to compete sunday it is gonna be a total of 55$ not 35$....unless something changes or i was misinformed by whoever updates their fb page.

Sounds like somebody is $$$$$ hungry. The get rich program usually doesn't work so good. Good luck with it.

Thats just stupid!!! plus its 200 to compete, most parks charge 100 and throw in wheeling for the weekend! we were there two weekends ago and were running there tire pit out front and my buddys tracker got a 1.5" cable wrapped around his axle and ripped his brake line and stalled us there for a hour plus!! all im saying is if you want to run comps there clean up your comp sections!! If that was to happen to me during a comp i would be pretty pissed at bundy hill!!

10 minutes ago they just posted on their fb stating that "all competitors this weekend will get a free drivers pass when they register for the pit trash shootout."

i have been to bundy hill before and i loved it
i have a question to people who have competed before
would i be wasting my time by competing with 31" tires and a posi rear and open front?

Do it! It doest come down to the best rig sometimes....sometimes its just the rig that can finish.

I did the 35" class last year with a posi and open front. Did just fine til my driveshaft ate a rock.
