I know....my point is there is a huge difference between a buggy on say 37's and full framed / bodied rig on 37's.....i was simply wondering if both were gonna be allowed...my interpretation of "average style rig" would be no buggy and frame/ body requirments but i'm not running it so thats why i asked.

This was the winner of last years shootout. Some speed, lots of obstacles, some mud, decent amount of rocks.

I have done this race the last 2 years. This race is more obstacles with a few hundred yards of speed between them.
However most of how well you do will be how fast you can make it over obstacles and not getting stuck. In the 35" tires class last year out of I think 7 that ran that class only one made it across the finish line due to breakage. My wife got told to stop about 200 yards before crossing the line due to a broke off control arm hanging down. She took second place behind Norm in his EB.

You won't have more fun for $25. This I know!

BTW - Bundy, you guys need to offer t-shirts to buy for those that are competing. LMK, if you want me to take care of making some . . . . .

Just running isn't even close to the same thing as racing it with a time limit! Trust me on that one. . . .
With that said I do agree that yes the fact the course has been run many times has made it a little less wild.

I know speed has its price....i was just giving him some encouragement so it didn't seem like he stood no chance of completing it.
