run for 2-3 min. and start to want to stall and backfire out the intake and after it does that it start to run ok but not alot of power. it does it when cold or hot.

new tune-up, crank shaft sensor(mopar)

I would check for any possible vac. leaks (intake) and also check your throttle position sensor. Just went through a similar problem on a friends 99 WJ with a 4.0.
