Default 87 Comanche 4x4 - $600

Up for sale is my 87 Comanche 4x4. The transmission went out in May of 2007 and the truck has been sitting in my yard since then. Here are the details:
- 2.5L Engine - 123,257 miles, rebuilt by previous owner at 89,745 miles. Ran good, burned a little oil but not bad.
- AX-5 Transmission - still works in 4th gear, but will need rebuilt or replaced.
- NP 231 Transfer case - Four wheel drive worked great!
- Everything else is stock.
- The previous owner re-geared the rearend for better highway range. Drove good at 70 mph.
- At 101,127 miles - replaced fuel tank with a 25 gallon tank (used), front track bar (new), and front axle joints (new).
- At 111,587 miles - replaced starter (used), and replaced alternator (rebuilt) sometime before that.
- At 114,610 miles - replaced front brake hoses (new), and rear brake shoes, cylinders, and drums (new).
- At 116,967 miles - replaced steering box (used), emergency/parking brake line/cable (used), and replaced all tie rod ends (new).
- At 117,230 miles - installed clutch kit (new).
I have all the paperwork to show all this, if wanted. It used to be my daily driver before the transmission went out. It is pretty rusty, especially in the rocker panels and rear fenders. I've got 5 tires and rims for it. It may need a new tire or two because they've been sitting so long. It will also need a new muffler. There is also a crack in the windshield. It has a pretty heavy duty rear bumper, and a jimmy-rigged rear windshield wiper. It will also need a battery. Whenever I start it up after sitting for a long period of time, it cranks a little bit and then fires right up.

There are a bunch of pictures posted on webshots. http://community.webshots.com/user/ekulrenlig
One album is from 2006, but the other album was taken the spring of 2010. The ones attached are from last year. I can provide recent pictures if wanted. It is located in Gaylord, MI. Asking $600. I am open to trades, or partial trades/cash. Items I am interested in include: woodworking equipment, a small fishing boat and trailer, a lawn mower/tractor, tractor wagon, wheel barrow, weed wacker, air compressor, popup camper, food plot equipment, or..., let me know what you have.

You are entitled to your own opinion. Somebody could pick this up, part it out, and then take it to the scrap yard for another $100-$200. It is easily worth $600.
- Transfer case: $100-$150
- Engine: $200-$250
- Topper: $50-$75
- Bumper: $50-$75
- Tail lights: $20-$30
- Interior Items: $25-$50

All four fender flares are in good shape, just one has some minor cracking. The headlight bezels are ok, both intact, one of them is very discolored.
You can have all of that, plus the rest of the truck for $600.

Picture link doesn't want to open for me. How is the rust on it? Rockers? Bed?

Hmm, looks like webshots is changing their website or something.
It's pretty rusty - rockers are rusted through in spots, part of the floor is rusted through. The bed is actually in descent shape though, but the rear fenders are starting to rust through in spots. See if this link works http://smile.webshots.com/onboard

Truck is still whole. You can stop by and see it run - located in Gaylord. I'll just have to stick a temporary battery in it. I haven't started it up in quite a while.
