I have a D70 4.10 Ford rear axle with a power-lock that has been rebuilt. I am looking for a replacement diff for a 4.56 and num higher gear. I can get the carrier numbers to positively ID that it will work for the Dodge. This is 35 spline 1.5" dia. shaft.

The difference is gonna be a D70HD, or a D70U. I know the difference is the bearing combo's inside make a difference in the carriers that can be used in the particular housing. I am not sure how to ID them visually from the outside. I am checking. Any help here or a link to a tech thread would be nice.
