Default Need a good weekend trip to plan.

Started a couple years ago with some friends. We plan a trip in late summer for a long weekend wheeling trip. Last 2 years have been to Drummond island. Moderate wheeling. We don't have heavily built jeeps. Just lifted DD's that we play with on weekends and what not. Was wondering if I could get some input on some good state land wheeling that is LEGAL and about 5-8 hrs drive from grand rapids. What do you guys recommend and where have you been? I don't want an ORV park. Been to a lot of them already. Thanks.

You can get on state trail// forest rds in Harrison's Leota area and run across to the Denton area Trail over to St Hellens. From there up threw Atlanta trails area. With a bit of road time you can connect all the way to Cheboygan by trails// forest Rds.,
