Tiffany Porter is a local girl running for Great Britain in the 100M hurdles. I'll be cheering for her!

I'm sure if you lived and were born in the Dominican republic you would have a shit ton of chances to go to the Olympics and college and not just sell bananas on some street corner.. I could see if you were born somewhere else and then moved here maybe . Oh well ,end rant.
What about the other way, if say your parents were in the military, stationed in Germany, and you were born there, went to school there. Do you think your parents would want you to be a good little german and represent the fatherland in the Olympics?

The Olympic style of archery is where they use recurve style bows and are only allowed to use a pin on there sight, no scope. Also they have to use there fingers for releasing the arrow, no mechanical release. It is a lot harder then the bow hunting style of archery that most people are used to. Also being outside makes it harder because of wind and such. Using your back and shoulder muscle are huge with this style of archery.

OK, I can see how that would take some strength and skill. Thanks!

LOOOL. yeah, using a 50 lb bow to loft arrows at a stationary target is SOOOOOO hard. Go to montana, climb a mountain, kill a elk at 20-30 yards, butcher it, drag it off the mountain and get back to me.
